(Source: People's Government of Jilin Province) In recent years, Jilin Province has implemented the Changchun-Jilin-Tumen strategic plan, accelerated construction of local highways and completed construction of Songyuan-Shitoujingzi highway, Jilin-Yanji highway, Tumen-Hunchun highway and Jilin-Caoshi highway. As of now, the highway mileage has hit 2,252 km, seven cities (prefectures) achieved highway connection with the capital city of Jilin Province and the most important "three vertical and one horizontal" (Beijing-Haribin, Dalin-Guangzhou, Jilin-Shenyang and Hunchun-Ulan Hot) of the "five vertical and five horizontal" highway network have been basically completed....
